| Ultrasonic Liposuction expands upon the basic liposuction principle to incorporate the use of a computerized ultrasonic generator. Through as series of vibrations, the generator breaks fat into very small particles that are mixed with fluid. Dr. Rose is then able to liquefy the fat at predetermined sites before gently "vacuuming" it away. This "external" liposuction method offers patients refined, predicable results for resculpting, or reshaping, areas of the neck, back, arms, abdomen, thighs, knees, hips, buttocks, and legs. With this newest method of liposuction offered by Dr. Rose, a special paddle-like instrument delivers concentrated sound waves eternally as it is rubbed across the target area. The sound waves painlessly reduce the previously hydrated fat to a nearly liquefied form before being gently "vacuumed" away through a tiny incision. Prior to this advanced technique, the ultrasonic fragmentation was performed internally by repeatedly moving a special ultra-sound probe through an incision to break-up areas of fat. Questions?
